The formal entrance to the School of Medicine has been renovated and renamed the Bowman Gray Alumni Plaza.  This reflects the change made in 1997, when the school was renamed Wake Forest University School of Medicine on Bowman Gray campus.

The redesigned plaza features a sculpture of Bowman Gray by Earline heath King framed in an ironwork arch, improved lighting and seating, and a landscaped upper level courtyard.

The Plaza was dedicated during the School of Medicine’s centennial celebration in the fall of 2002.

Individual donors of $500 or more to the project will be listed on a plaque located in the plaza.
